Another reason to go back to food basics

Okay, I'm not sure we can even go back to food basics now. Monsanto and Con Agra and all those folks have pretty much genetically-engineered everything.

But now it looks as if they've turned our own taste buds against us. The Slow Poisoning of America website is a site everyone should look at. When I saw their claims that MSG is added to food for the addictive effect it has on the human body, I was surprised. But then I checked out the website for the Glutamate Association.

Yes, they actually say it's addictive -- with a straight face-- and they think that's good. Ah, words! Ah, greed!

The food industry learned from the tobacco industry that addicted customers keep coming back for more. So why do you go to Applebees, MacDonalds, KFC? Why that craving? Well, go to the National Library of Medicine, at Type in the words "MSG Obese" or "MSG headache" or just plain old "MSG" and read on.

Now more than ever, we moms need to realize that our family's very lives depend on what we put in their mouths.

Here is an informational vid on youtube about MSG
