Lately, we've been praying for Gabe by simply putting our hands on him and praising Jesus. That's it. I just tell the Holy Spirit to do the work while we stretch out our hands to heal.
It's Biblical, I suspect because Jesus said, "They would lay hands on the sick and they would recover." In that particular command, God doesn't say, "Pray." He just says lay hands on the sick. In the same way, Peter's Shadow healed people and Paul's handkerchief healed people...just by their presence. So it's really God doing the work....and the human vessel standing aside and letting God be Christ in us, the hope of glory.
We still affirm and pray in tongues and pray and do communion as healing...but when it's prayer for Gabe time, it's just the praise. Will see.
